My Autobook Entry

As I unfold my memories, I am fascinated with the idea of a thing which we used to do in schools, filling up the fancy books of friends with stuffs which we called our favorite. It's so exciting to think that even when we are limited with knowledge and wisdom, we still had things to love and idolise. Auto book writing, as it used to be called then, was one fancy book where we would find someone's everything if we were to stalk.
Recollecting, I compiled my auto book entry.
Today recollecting back these things, I wondered whether all these things were genuine or not. I used to write most of the time to go through the photographs of the girls and read their auto entry. I am sure, many of you sure must have once or more entered these things in auto books of your friends.

  1. Aww a sweet post! Auto Book as we so fondly used to call must have been the older version of Facebook in those days :).

Juhi Chawla, The Rock and Bum choe gatey joni mo are the hits of those days that are buried deep in the past though Rock is pretty popular as he used to be now. I was a fan of him as well btw..:P

And of course auto books were given to your crush as well to collect their beauiful pictures and their likes and dislikes. I had my fair share of it too and I still have my auto book amongst my childhood stuffs.

Such a beautiful post again, totally loved it Sogyel.

  4. I remember handing over my auto book each year to my friends and asking them to paste their pictures. Sometimes, I would tell them that it is compulsory to paste their picture....haha. As mentioned by Rekha, it was definitely one of the NOW FACEBOOK VERSION where you want to see and know about the other person.
I must say I love your hand writing :] So clean!!!

  5. I don't remember myself making such entry in anyone's autobook. I even didn't maintain one for myself. However, I used to read enough of my friends and start framing pranks out of information given therein.
